Jaren A Fernley - Your Safari Host - African Wildlife Safaris

My name is Jaren A Fernley and I am a professional wildlife photographer specializing in African Wildlife Safaris. From a young age, I had always dreamed of visiting Africa to see some of the world's most incredible animals. Now at age 28, I am living that dream as a wildlife photographer, travelling the African continent with my husband, Mark A Fernley.

Together, my husband and I are owners of Untamed Photo Safaris, where we host beginner and intermediate photographers here in Africa to teach them photography tips and techniques throughout their safaris. We offer scheduled group photographic safaris in some of the top wildlife destinations in Africa.

With a small group size of just six guests per tour, we offer some of the most exclusive small group tours in Africa. Not only are their only six guests, but these guests are split into two groups, with either myself or my husband in either safari vehicle, making our tours a 3-to-1 guest to photo host ratio. Sounds good right? 

While I have a passion for wildlife photography, I also love seeing my guest's faces light up when they see African wildlife for the first time; regardless of their interest in photography. Because of this, I offer guests a non-photographic safari option, where I help you plan your ideal safari. I have been planning bespoke photographic holidays in Africa for years and I work closely with my clients to create the ideal safari holiday. 

Something special that I offer my guests is that I will handle the photography throughout your safari. I photograph the wildlife seen on safari and around the lodges each day, and at the end of your trip, you will receive professionally edited photographs sent to you within 10-days of your return home.
